Named after REI, the Japanese word for “zero,” this piece was designed to capture the fleeting stillness between freezing and melting.
The double-band ear cuff features two contrasting hand-molded stones: one clear like dew, and the other with REI’s signature melting ice-like texture. Together, they create a quiet, delicate contrast.
Its magic lies in versatility. A detachable chain charm, finished with matching orbs, moves gently when worn with the ear cuff. Slip the chain onto your finger as a delicate ring, or attach it to other studs in your collection to create a unique short drop.

Return
We offer a 14-day return window upon delivery.
Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition.
Our customers are from all over the world and unfortunately we are unable to offer One-Size-Fit-All return labels at the moment, therefore, you will be responsible for all shipping fees associated with a return. Thank you for your understanding.
The original shipping fee before any shipping discount is non-refundable.
All pearls are natural, all colours are hand-blended, and all clear items are hand-molded, therefore inherently unique, resulting in slight variations. Their variance cannot be considered as defect.
If you want to check the variance of your piece, please reach out. We might be able to pick a specific piece that caters to your preference.
If a parcel is not picked up within the carrier’s holding period and is returned to us, a resending fee will apply to ship it again.
Duties & Taxes
Orders outside Canada may be subject to additional import fees, which include VAT, duty, and any other local processing fee, upon receipt, depending on your country's regulations for which you will be responsible.
Exception** United States: Applicable customs duties are included in your order total and prepaid at checkout. You should not be required to pay these duties again upon delivery.
Note: maison miak has no control over these charges, and we cannot accept returns due to refused fees.

How can I order?
We open our store ONLY ONCE A MONTH — for just 3–4 days at a time.
This is to keep up with demand and simultaneously protect time for new creations.

Will everything be restocked each month? If not, what will be next time?
For the same reason we open once a month, and to keep things manageable, we only restock selected styles each month.

We ship worldwide, and so far we have shipped to more than 30 countries!

What’s the difference between In-Stock and Backorder?
- In-Stock items are ready to ship and usually dispatch within 2 business days.
- Backorder items are made-to-order. Estimated dispatch dates are listed on each product page.
What if my order includes both In-Stock and Backorder items?
Orders mixing In-Stock and Backorder items will ship together when Backorders are ready.
To open up In-Stock availability for those who wish to order only In-Stock pieces, if you place an order that includes at least one Backorder, any in-stock pieces in your order will be moved to backorder status.

I want to add more pieces to my cart, but I can't. Why?
If you get an error saying the item can’t be added, it means all remaining stock is already in your cart.
To proceed, simply choose the Backorder option for the quantity you want.
Can I convert a clip-on to a standard post (or vice versa)?
Some styles already offer an option to choose your preferred earring back.
If not, you can request a custom conversion — just leave a message in the box during checkout!
We’re happy to convert clip-on to standard post or the other way around.

A beautiful complementary piece for the MEIKA silver / short drop. The only downsides are that your ears start hurting from wearing it after a long day out and if you're a frequent headphone user like me, they can become uncomfortable to wear underneath them after a while.

For this particular ear cuff, the opening can be adjusted slightly if needed but please do so with very gentle pressure on the metal arms **NEVER on the motif.

This ear cuff is nice and I love the design, but it gets caught in my long hair if I wear it down. So I suggest wearing this style with hair up or out of the way. It is very lightweight and I like having the dangling accessory as an extra styling option. Personally I found wearing the dangling orbs as a ring a bit difficult as it loosens easily, so I have to adjust it often. This ear cuff was also a bit more difficult to style than I thought since I have two lobe piercings. I didn't end up wearing this piece as much as I thought I would when I purchased it. I still like it a lot though!

For the chain ring styling, we also wanted to share a small tip in case it helps...
If you prefer a more secure fit, you can wrap the dangling chains once around the chain that sits around your finger. This helps secure the placement more.
Aki(one of the co-founders) personally doesn’t do this because she prefers a slightly looser fit for any ring, but Miki prefers a snugger fit and uses this trick often🤍

Yes, due to the asymmetrical structure of this ear cuff, the way it looks can differ slightly depending on which ear it is worn on.
When worn on the right ear, the clear motif sits closer to the earlobe. When worn on the left ear, the design is reversed, so the motif sits higher than the other motif!

Each piece of jewelry has a beautiful luster and shape, and the clip-on earrings are very comfortable (except for the slight feeling of pressure on the ear cartilage). It's beautifull and I like the different options (with/without the attachments, looking different on differents ears). The only downside is that my ear starts to hurt afer a while, and I need to change the position or take it off and give my ear a rest. It's the specifics of my physiology, of course, but just keep in mind that the size in not completely universal and it might be a bit too tight fo some.

Such a lovely piece! The stud is so cute! And I think the orb drops are so versatile and I’m already thinking about other pieces that I think they would go well with too.
