What's In-Stock vs. Backorder?"

In-Stock: Ready-to-ship pieces → Dispatched within 2 business days.
Backorder: Made-to-order pieces → Estimated dispatch dates are listed on each product page.

📌 Important Notes:

- Orders mixing In-Stock and Backorder items will ship together when backorders are ready. 
To open up In-Stock availability for those who wish to order only In-Stock pieces, if you place an order that includes at least one Backorder, any in-stock pieces in your order will be moved to backorder status.
- If you'd like your In-Stock items sooner, we recommend ordering them separately from Backorder pieces.

 

Delivery Time

- The delivery time depends on your location. Simply enter your address to see how long it takes during the checkout process!
Delivery timelines are approximate. They do not include any unforeseeable delays with the courier (weather, volume, traffic, holiday season etc) We, maison miak, do not have any control over and ask everybody to understand.

+ Shipping Block A: Free Tracked Shipping on all orders

Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Hungary, Malta, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland, Austria and Switzerland

Shipping is FREE for any order, with a tracking number provided.
Canadian orders are shipped via UPS, the rest will be shipped via Canada Post.

Canada & U.S.:

Both In-stock and Backorder items will ship from Canada.

Other listed countries:

In-stock items ship from Canada.
Backorders ship either from Canada or Japan, depending on production capacity.

 

+ Shipping Block B: Free Tracked Shipping on orders with 2 or more pieces 

Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea

Shipping becomes FREE for orders with 2 or more pieces, with a tracking number provided.
In-stock items will ship from Canada, while Backorder items will be shipped from Japan.
For orders with only 1 piece, shipping typically ranges from CAD$5 to CAD$8, depending on your location.


+ Shipping Block C: Tracked Shipping with a Fee 

Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Poland, Türkiye

Shipping costs typically range from CAD$5 to CAD$8, with a tracking number included.
In-stock items will ship from Canada, while Backorder items will be shipped from Japan.

 

+ Shipping Block D: Free Shipping WITHOUT Tracking 

Countries NOT included in other shipping blocks

Shipping is free, but no tracking number is provided due to limited affordable shipping options.
In-stock items will ship from Canada, while Backorder items will be shipped from Japan.
A shipping upgrade may be available upon request.

 

Please double-check your address during the checkout.

We will ship your items to the address you provide. 
If the parcel gets returned due to an insufficient/wrong address, or the parcel is not picked up within the carrier’s holding period and is returned to us, a resending fee will apply to ship it again.  

    Duties & Taxes

    Orders outside Canada may be subject to additional import fees, which include VAT, duty, any other local processing fee, upon receipt depending on your country's regulations that you will be responsible for. Please note that maison miak does not have any control over these fees.
    📌Note: maison miak has no control over these charges, and we cannot accept returns due to refused fees.
